Charging as a Service - A Truly Unique Approach

Humm’s approach to Charging as a Service is unique.  Humm installs, finances, owns, operates and maintains its best-in-class JuiceBox charging stations at the host’s property. All the charging revenue can either be for the benefit of the host in the case where it chooses to pay Humm a monthly or annual payment to provide the service.  Or in certain cases, Humm is prepared to assume all the costs of installation and operational risk and share a portion of the net charging revenues with the Host. 

  • Step 1: Request a Proposal

    Humm will work with you to determine the best location and the number of charging stations to be installed initially and added over time; obtain estimates from its contractors and vendors; and prepare and provide a proposal for you to be a host property

  • Step 2: Enter a Host Agreement

    The parties negotiate and enter into a Charging Station Host Agreement (“Host Agreement”). The Host Agreement governs the relationship of the parties and provides for the final design, location and type of equipment to be utilized, and includes typical terms and conditons.

  • Step 3: Humm Performs Turnkey Installation

    Humm will use its own capital to install its best-in-class charging stations using licensed and qualified contractors. Humm may even pay for the electrical infrastructure upgrades in certain cases, which is unique in the industry.

  • Step 4: Drivers Enjoy Low-Cost Charging

    Once activated, residents or guests swipe their phones and start charging at a low-cost rate or subscription-fee basis; Humm performs all ongoing remote monitoring, operations and maintenance of the charging stations.
